I do not often rave about restaurants... because most of them are, frankly, garbage...but BLU Grotto defies that standard. I am not sure if the quality of the meal or the amazing people were better. I have not enjoyed a dining experience this much in years. Between Lisa, the former owner, Chris, an amazing server (who I discovered was a high school classmate), Walter...an AMAZING chef, and some passionate fellow diners, I had a great time. As for the food...the calamari was tender, buttery and flavorful, the salad was crisp and perfect, the chicken parmesan was, hands down, the best I have ever tasted, and the portions were ridiculous. I will be eating this meal for the next three days I cannot encourage you more strongly to eat here. This is the best restaurant I have found in this area since I moved here in 1984!! Eat here. Tip we'll! Last note, I spent more than I typically would have because I just needed to taste everything...when you see the price, keep in mind that I had appetizers, wine, salad, bread and dessert (which I have yet to taste, but...damn...it looks wonderful). The value is far above what I have found in this area...period. Eat here!

One of the predominate remarks we’ve heard about the PC/RW/NP/PG area is that the pizza and Italian are underwhelming. We have tried a handful of Italian restaurants when coming to visit our build. But when we heard everyone raving about this spot, we knew we had to visit. This quiet, intimate restaurant boasts an excellent assortment of your favorites, fancied up but not ridiculously priced or plated. Very generous portions, high quality food, and attentive staff. Lisa, the owner, makes it a point to introduce herself to all of the patrons. We recommend reservations.... we eat early but by dinner time the place is hopping. Welcome to northeastern Italian flair in Florida. You must get the antipasto salad, the Bolognese, and the meatballs. The antipasto tray is also amazing. Three types of soft bread are offered, with high quality olive oil. We don’t drink.... two apps and a shared meal runs us 45-60 before tip (for two). Go on in.... you won’t regret it!

Phenomenal meal tonight on our first time trying this restaurant. I had a special of the day Tuscan chicken and it was a flavor explosion and almost too pretty to eat. Could only manage to eat half so I have leftovers to enjoy too. My husband and I shared a chocolate Bomba I think it was called for dessert. We enjoyed everything and can't wait to go back. A total hidden gem.

Very nice, upscale Italian atmosphere. We tried several dishes and everyone was pleased. A little on the pricey side, but worth the visit.

Wonderful food. This was our first dinner there and all four of us were extremely happy with our choices. The mussels in white sauce were the best we've ever had. Unbelievably tender. Our waitress was such a lovely and efficient young lady. We will definitely go back.

I had this spaghetti and meatballs and they were fabulous. Then for dessert I had their salted caramel cheese cake, and it was incredibly good!

Today I want to the Blue grotto with my wife and my daughter, I've been looking for a good authentic Italian restaurant. I believe I might have found one. My daughter had the clams with white sauce, my wife had old fashioned spaghetti and meatballs, and I had the eggplant parmesan with spaghetti. All were delicious all prepared correctly. The waitress was amazing and the owner was very gracious I'll be coming back. Also I forgot to tell you the portions were very generous.

Our first time and definitely not our last!! Staff was very welcoming, polite, and efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant. We got the bruschetta, shrimp scampi, and fettuccine Alfredo...everything was good portion size and DELICIOUS!!!! If you're in the area give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!!
